Description:
Rei Kawakubo’s flair for elaborate construction was everywhere evident in her Fall ’98 show, which she titled “Fusion.” Different types of garments were grafted and collaged into unique pieces, including one-armed tops and inside-out coats. They projected an air of seriousness and austerity.
The coat is constructed with contrasting panneling at the front and back in grey and cream. Cotton and wool blend.
